A turnaround are those last few chords at the end of the section of a jazz standard that get us harmonically back to the top of the tune. Let’s look at how we can take a simple progression such as C and G7 and make it a bit more interesting. All five of these patterns are also moveable up the fingerboard so that you can adapt them to any key.
